What is an EV3?

A robot is a machine that can do many tasks with one design. An EV3 is a type of robot made by LEGO. It is able to be designed and programmed with LEGO Technics. It has slots for 4 motors and 4 sensors. Programming varies between motors and sensors.

This is a basic EV3 robot. It contains two motors and no sensors. This robot can be used for beginner programming, since using sensors is very complicated.
