OTHER DESIGNS
Before I built a robot, I looked at designs already made. I found many designs with different problems. Please note that I did not build any of these designs on my own EV3.
DESIGN ONE: DRAW 'N' DRIVE
This design is by Lauro Ojeda. It is a robot that drives and draws. It has unlimited space to draw on and uses an SD card to draw. The reason I didn't choose this design was because I would have to program the robot to move with a pen attached to the front, making it hard to coordinate.
DESIGN TWO: CLAW ARM
This claw is by Christophe Avenel. It uses gears to turn arms which hold a pen. It was programmed with Python coding software, so a mouse could be attached to control the pen. I didn't choose this design because the gears needed to have different measurements every time the pen moved.

This last "human-like" arm design was made by Christoph Stahl. It draws using motors like joints. The reason I didn't build this design was because the arm is very heavy and the final picture wasn't good quality.
